The NBA team Boston Celtics has set a franchise record for home victories, as announced on the club's Twitter.

Tonight, Boston hosted Minnesota on their home court. The game extended into overtime, but the hosts still secured a victory with a score of 127-120. Thus, this triumph marked the Celtics' 18th consecutive win on their home court, establishing a franchise record. The previous record was set in the 1957-58 season, where they went undefeated in 17 home games.

In this game, Boston's basketball player Jayson Tatum scored 45 points. He spent 42 minutes on the court, securing four rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Overall, Tatum averages 28 points per game.

It's worth noting that the seven-foot center from San Antonio, Victor Wembanyama, notched his first career triple-double in the NBA in a game against Detroit. In just 21 minutes on the court, the young Frenchman scored 16 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and registered 10 assists.
