In three years, Chelsea may once again change ownership. According to information from the Daily Mail, the majority owners of the club, Clearlake Capital, are considering removing Todd Boehly, the club's chairman, from his duties.

It is expected that Chelsea will have a new owner in 2027. This decision is linked to the disappointing sporting and economic results during Boehly's tenure. In the previous season, the team finished 12th in the Premier League, and currently occupies the 11th position.

Moreover, since Boehly's arrival at the club, Chelsea has spent over 1 billion euros in the transfer market, focusing on acquiring young footballers.

According to the club's financial report, Chelsea has incurred losses over the past two years.

Recall that Todd Boehly's company acquired Chelsea in 2022 from Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.
