Real Madrid crushed Las Palmas in a dominant 4-1 victory during their home match in the 20th round of the English Premier League. The "Blancos" secured the win thanks to a brace from Kylian Mbappé and goals by Brahim Díaz and Rodrygo.
The match was also notable for marking the return of defender David Alaba, who appeared on the pitch for the first time in 399 days following a serious injury.
Alaba had been sidelined since December 2023 due to a cruciate ligament injury. His comeback comes at a crucial time, as Real Madrid faces challenges with injuries to Dani Carvajal and Éder Militão.
After 20 rounds, Real Madrid sits atop the La Liga table, two points ahead of Atlético Madrid.
