The beginning of an incredible era. On this day, Ronaldo won his first trophy with Manchester United

Cristiano Ronaldo is enjoying a phenomenal career, decorated with a host of titles, but it was on this very day that he captured one of his first truly significant trophies.
Details: On May 22, 2004, Manchester United reached the FA Cup final, where they faced off against Millwall. The Red Devils left their opponents no chance—cruising to a confident 3-0 victory. Ruud van Nistelrooy bagged a brace, while it was Cristiano Ronaldo who opened the scoring.
It was on this day that the young Portuguese winger claimed his first trophy with Manchester United.
For the record, in the summer of 2003 Ronaldo signed with the Red Devils. He would go on to win nine titles with the club, but it all began with that final against Millwall.
Reminder: Recently, the legendary Portuguese star received a transfer offer from Moroccan club Wydad Casablanca, who will take part in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup this summer.
