The Bayern star named the Champions League favorites
Bayern Munich and Germany's national team player, Jamal Musiala, hailing from London, aspires to grace the finale of the Champions League this season, set to take place at the iconic Wembley Stadium. While harboring dreams of clinching the paramount club tournament in Europe, a title he deems "the most prestigious" in club football, he regards Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Arsenal as prime contenders for seizing the coveted trophy this season, given their current form.
In a conversation with Abendzeitung, the midfielder expressed:
"The Champions League stands as the foremost pinnacle in club football. Conquering this title is my major ambition. The final this season will unfold in London, at 'Wembley.' For me, this holds a special significance as I grew up in London. 'Wembley' is a magical place. As a team, we exert all our efforts, yet at this level, consistent form and the fitness of all players are equally vital.
I believe Real Madrid and Manchester City emerge as strong favorites. However, Arsenal is also displaying an impressive style under the guidance of Mikel Arteta."
As a reminder, in the Champions League Round of 16, Real Madrid will face RB Leipzig, Arsenal will confront Porto, and Manchester City will test Copenhagen. Jamal Musiala, alongside Bayern, will contend against Lazio.
