The Bayern Munich midfielder is on PSG's shortlist

The situation surrounding Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich remains unresolved. The player could potentially leave the Munich club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG is one of the contenders interested in acquiring Kimmich. Currently, the player is on Paris Saint-Germain's shortlist. Additionally, the French club is also interested in signing Joao Neves, but Benfica's asking price of around 120 million makes negotiations for Kimmich potentially easier.

Recently, negotiations between Kimmich and Bayern Munich for a new contract have reached an impasse, and PSG is looking to capitalize on this. Apart from PSG, clubs from the Premier League and Barcelona are also interested in Kimmich. However, they are all waiting for the conclusion of Euro 2024 to initiate talks with the player.

Kimmich's contract with Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2025, and the club is keen not to lose him on a free transfer. Throughout his career in the Bundesliga, Kimmich has played 390 matches, scoring 42 goals, and providing 104 assists.
