Bayern Munich's center-back Dayot Upamecano is considering leaving the club next summer.

According to L'Équipe, the French footballer is unhappy with the amount of playing time he's been getting this season, as well as the constant criticism from fans and experts.

Upamecano has long been contemplating continuing his career in England, and several Premier League clubs have shown interest in him.

The 25-year-old center-back joined Bayern Munich in the summer of 2021 from RB Leipzig for €42.5 million. In the current season, Upamecano has played 26 matches across all competitions and scored 1 goal.

In the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Lazio, Upamecano received a red card, and subsequently, he also received a red card in the Bundesliga match against Bayer. Bayern lost both matches.
