Arsenal's leader, Bukayo Saka, commented on the draw against Liverpool (1:1) at Anfield in the 18th round of the Premier League.

Saka feels that his team could have achieved more and won the match.

"I don't think that you can talk about the title yet. I think it is still way too early for those discussions. We will take the point, we are still top of the table for Christmas, which is nice, but it is still too early for title talk.

I think we are a bit frustrated, I am a bit frustrated that we haven't won, but when you come to Anfield and leave frustrated that you haven't won it says a lot. Credit to Liverpool, they played well, we played well too, so it could have gone either way in the end. I think there are certain moments in the game, of course they had their own moments, but sometimes in the final third that final pass or shot did not go the right way, which is frustrating.

I would say 100% we are definitely better defensively. At times today you saw how good our defence is, and our midfield too making sure to help them out at times. Special shout out to our centre back pairing Willie [Saliba] and Gabbi [Gabriel] today, I thought they were top, and dealt with Liverpool's threats loads of times." told Saka for BBC.

Arsenal maintains the top spot, still ahead of Liverpool by a single point. Before the year ends, the Gunners have two more matches scheduled: against West Ham on December 28th and Fulham on December 31st.
