Very soon, football clubs will enter the international break, and Argentina's national team is set to play two matches as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Details: Captain Lionel Messi has been included in the squad. He missed the September matches due to an injury sustained in the final of the 2024 Copa América. In his absence, Argentina beat Chile 3-0 and lost 1-2 to Colombia. Despite the defeat, Argentina remains at the top of the standings with 18 points.

During the October break, Argentina will face Venezuela on October 11 and Bolivia on November 16.

Reminder: The legendary Lionel Messi has been playing for MLS club Inter Miami since the summer of 2023, but American fans don't have much longer to enjoy watching the record-holder for the most Ballon d'Or titles in football history.

Notably, after a long recovery process, Messi returned to the pitch and contributed to three goals in his first match back with Inter Miami.
