The AC Milan defender rejected offer from Saudi Arabia and hopes to extend his contract with club
Experienced AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer is hoping to extend his contract with the Rossoneri and remain with the club.
The 34-year-old Danish player revealed that he turned down a lucrative offer from a Saudi Arabian club in order to stay in Milan. Journalist Nicolo Schira reported the words of the experienced footballer.
"I would be happy to stay in Milan. I turned down a lucrative offer from a Saudi club to continue my career at Milan," Kjaer said.
At the moment, AC Milan has not yet made a decision about the defender's future. His contract expires in June, and the club plans to make a final decision on the player in May.
In the current season, the experienced center-back has played 22 matches in all competitions and provided 1 assist.
Earlier reports indicated that Milan is willing to consider offers for the French national team defender and has set a price tag on the player.
