The 2014 world champion has finished his career. It is known what he will do
Joachim Löw's legendary team, which won the World Cup in 2014, is gradually retiring. So, another representative of that German national team finished his career.
Defender Shkodran Mustafi played three matches at that tournament, and at the age of 32 he decided to hang up his boots. In total, he played 20 matches for the Bundesti in 2014-2017, in which he scored two goals and gave one assist. But, Mustafi himself already knows what he will do at the end of his career.
The official website of the German Football Association informed the public that the former Arsenal London defender has decided to join Mark Meister's coaching staff at the German Under-17 national team. He will take up the job from 1 July.
Mustafi won all his trophies at club level with Arsenal, becoming a two-time FA Cup winner and local Super Cup winner.
