One of Manchester United's transfer targets in the summer transfer window will be the signing of a new centre forward to assist Rasmus Højlund. And one that the Mancunians have found at far from the Premier League's top club.

According to 90min, Manchester United are admirers of Brentford striker Ivan Toney and want to sign the player. For Erik ten Hag's team, the financial demands of the player, who wants to earn around £250,000 per week, are not a problem.

But, the Mancunians are hoping to curb their appetite for Brentford, who are asking £100million for Toney, which could make the striker a more tempting candidate than RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, who is also being monitored.

Toney has previously been strongly linked with a move to Arsenal in London, and he is responding to the Canaries' enquiries, but they have decided to turn their attention to younger candidates, as have Chelsea.
