Mastantuono already has one foot out of Madrid.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid’s management has officially signed off on Franco Mastantuono’s loan move. A permanent transfer is not being considered—the Madrid club still believes in the Argentine’s potential and expects him to play a key role in the future.

Real Madrid has not included the 18-year-old in the squad for the upcoming match. This move is directly linked to preparations for his temporary departure—Franco is set to gain regular playing time at another club.

The priority option for Madrid remains a loan within Europe. A potential return for Mastantuono to River Plate does not appeal to Real’s management, who want the player to continue adapting to European football. The specific club has not yet been chosen.

It’s worth noting that last season, the Argentine made 35 appearances for Real, netting 3 goals and providing one assist. Transfermarkt values him at €45 million.

Reminder: Roma preparing a blockbuster transfer! Real Madrid’s young star could switch teams this summer.
