"That was the biggest mistake": Álvaro Morata's wife opens up about their brief separation
Alice Campello, the wife of Galatasaray footballer Álvaro Morata, admitted that their brief separation last summer was the biggest mistake of their lives. She revealed this during an interview for the Italian TV show Verissimo.
"It was the biggest mistake we've ever made in our lives. We repeat it every day — I don't know how we could have made that decision. This experience has taught us both a lot because we understood what it's like to be without each other," Campello stated.
She also previously mentioned that moving to Turkey positively impacted their relationship. She admitted that there they can relax and spend time alone with their children, as they are hardly stopped on the street and can live a normal life.
It's worth noting that Morata and Campello have been together since 2016 and married in 2017. They have four children together.
The couple announced their separation last summer, after Euro 2024. But just five months later, in January, they officially declared their intention to give their relationship another chance.
