Colo-Colo star Arturo Vidal is going through a rough patch as his team continues to deliver disappointing results. That’s why the support from his loved ones, especially his eldest son, is so crucial to him right now. Arturo expressed his gratitude in an emotional Instagram story.
The Chilean midfielder shared a photo with his son Alonso and left a heartfelt caption: "Son, thank you for your support and for always being by my side 🙏❤️. I love you, son ❤️🙏," tagging Alonso in the post.
It’s worth noting that besides 16-year-old Alonso, Vidal is also raising his 11-year-old daughter Elisabetta and 7-year-old son Emiliano.
Yesterday, Colo-Colo played another league match against Ñublense. Once again, they couldn’t secure a win, with the game ending in a 2-2 draw. Vidal was substituted during the match, but still received a round of applause from the fans as he left the pitch.
As a reminder, Colo-Colo has already been eliminated from the Copa Libertadores and currently sits only 12th in the Chilean league table, although the Santiago-based side still has three games in hand.
