Chippa United coach Thabo September speaks about the absence of one of his most important players, Andile Jali, who joined the Chilli Boys in the current 2024-2025 season. The former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns player was expected to get more time with the team, but apparently the coach has a different opinion.

The player's most recent game was in February '18 in his side's 2-0 win over Cape Town City, but even in that game he came on as a substitute and only played a few minutes before the end of the game as well.

To add insult to injury, in his team's last league match against AmaZulu FC, the player did not find himself in the matchday squad, further fueling suspicion in the media.

What did the coach say about his absent player?

After their 2-1 win over Usuthu, the coach was asked directly why his veteran midfielder was absent from the midfield.

Let’s leave individual players, I don’t want to talk about themHe’s not injured He is a Chippa player. Who else is not here? Then you’re going to make my players also think this one is bigger than this one, and it’s not.
ho else is not here? If you give me the players that are not here, all of them, then I will answer for the individuals, That is football, don’t look to mess up what we are building.
