The Rufisque-based club was knocked out in the quarter-finals by a second division side.

Teungueth FC will not reach the semi-finals of the 2026 Senegal Cup. They were unable to withstand Diambars’ onslaught in the quarter-finals on Thursday 16 April. Diambars, a second division side, took the lead as early as the 30th minute. But the Rufisque-based club levelled the score in the second half before succumbing in the dying moments of the match.

Rafaël Ndong restored parity for Teungueth FC in the 57th minute, making it 1-1. The suspense continued until the final minutes of normal time. But Teungueth FC were dealt a crushing blow in the 86th minute. Diambars scored to make it 2-1, and the Rufisque-based club were unable to equalise. They are therefore out of the competition for this season.
