Details: In today's NBA Playoff Round of 16 matchup between San Antonio and Portland, a truly frightening and unfortunate scene unfolded.

Just two minutes into the second quarter, 22-year-old San Antonio forward Victor Wembanyama landed awkwardly after a jump and slammed his head hard against the hardwood. The impact was so severe that Victor briefly lost consciousness, prompting the medical staff to rush onto the court and provide immediate first aid.

Post-game medical examinations revealed that Wembanyama had suffered a concussion. As a result, he will miss at least two games, possibly more.

The match itself also ended in disappointment for San Antonio—they fell 103-106, tying the series against Portland at 1-1.

The next game between the teams will take place in Portland in three days.
