The start of the Miami Grand Prix was a whirlwind of action and unpredictability. Charles Leclerc seized the lead in the very first corner, but just a few laps later, the safety car was deployed on track.
Isack Hadjar lost control and clipped the kerbs before slamming into the barriers. Elsewhere on the circuit, a horrifying crash unfolded involving Alpine's Pierre Gasly. After making contact with Liam Lawson's car, the Frenchman flipped through the air and became trapped in the catch fencing.
Gasly was able to climb out of the car unassisted, reassuring his team over the radio that he was okay. Notably, after just 10 laps, four cars had already retired: Hadjar, Gasly, Lawson, and Hülkenberg.
