Earlier reports suggested that Barcelona was dissatisfied with the pace and quality of goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen's recovery and might consider selling him. Now, new information has emerged about how the German himself views these rumors.
Details: According to Diario Sport, ter Stegen is not considering leaving Barcelona and intends to see out his contract until 2028. The only thing that could change his stance would be a complete loss of his status as the Blaugrana’s first-choice keeper, as that would impact his position in the national team. Ter Stegen only recently became the successor to Manuel Neuer and has gained the trust of the German national squad.
Reminder: The experienced shot-stopper finished the season with nine appearances, keeping one clean sheet. He missed most of the 2024/2025 campaign due to a serious injury, which prompted Barcelona to bring in Wojciech Szczęsny, who could also remain in the Catalan capital.
