Tension in Marseille!
The manager is unhappy
Habib Beye cuts a training session short.
Marseille are in crisis as the season reaches its final stages. The club’s chances of qualifying for next season’s Champions League are virtually nil. Nevertheless, Habib Beye, who has been racking up poor results since his appointment as manager, is willing to try anything with his team. But under the pressure, tensions are mounting.
During the training session on Wednesday 6 May, Habib Beye lost his temper, according to the French press. The Senegalese coach is exasperated by Mason Greenwood’s lack of commitment.
Habib Beye thus expressed his dissatisfaction by kicking several balls hard before heading straight back to the dressing room.
