Ten Hag has found justification for another Manchester United's defeat Ten Hag has found justification for another Manchester United's defeat

Manchester United's head coach, Erik ten Hag, commented on the loss to West Ham (0:2) in the 18th round of the Premier League. After today's defeat, the Mancunians have dropped to eighth place in the EPL table.

United has now gone four consecutive matches without scoring a goal in all competitions, a first since November 1992.

"I think it was a decent 72 minutes where we didn't take our chances. We should've gone in the lead but we didn't and then it was one moment of switching off. We tried. West Ham weren't running behind us for a long period in the game and then they got the goal and then of course you encourage the team. From that they were very aggressive defending the box and from that moment it's difficult to create a chance.

Garnacho's miss? I think he is confident, he's in good form at the moment. He was one on one with the keeper and he could've taken it but we didn't.

Four games without a goal? t's tough to think what's going on. I think maybe we're just not creating enough and when we do on the other hand we're not clinical. Maybe it could be a lack of confidence at the moment, sometimes that's normal in football, it happens.

There were highlights but we are over-performing, but in this moment we are underperforming. There are reasons for it, we have many injuries, so the team will be better if the injured ones return. We have to be calm, stick together, stick to the plan, we have to do it together. We have to stay positive." told ten Hag for BBC after match.

Manchester United has not won in the English championship for three consecutive matches. In their last seven games across all tournaments, Ten Hag's team has managed only one victory.
