Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag believes the club is in a better position than it was last year.
"Is the club in a better position than last year? When you look at the results, you might say 'no,' but we know the reasons... I would say 'yes.' We have more high-caliber players in the squad, and from that perspective, we are in a better position," quotes the specialist Fabrizio Romano.
With one match left in the season, Manchester United sits eighth in the Premier League table and has no chance of qualifying for European competitions through the league. However, Ten Hag's team still has an opportunity to win the FA Cup in a crucial clash against Manchester City.
Today, in the final round of the Premier League, the Red Devils will play against Brighton away. The match, along with the rest of the 38th round, kicks off at 17:00 Central European Time.
Previously, it was reported that Bayern Munich is interested in signing Manchester United's leading midfielder.
