Exactly one year remains until the kickoff of the World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. While the country is currently far from festive due to widespread protests in Los Angeles, there's still a sense of excitement among some.

Details: Ted Lasso creators Brendan Hunt and Jason Sudeikis called on fans to "embrace the vibe that no one has felt before." They also noted that it's not a problem that visitors to the USA won't all be Americans, as people understand this already.

Quote: “What America needs to be prepared for at this World Cup is something that most Americans instinctively understand, but just to make sure everyone realizes: there will be a lot of people here who weren’t born in the USA.

And just because they weren’t born here, there’s no reason to fear them. That’s what this platform is for. You need to be ready to surrender to an atmosphere you’ve never experienced before, because when people come to these cities to support their teams, they’ll fill them in a way that’s both overwhelming and welcoming.”
