Taught by his father: Fulham's Alex Iwobi organizes charitable Christmas event
Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi continues to focus on giving back to the community. For a day, he rented a local mini-market, AlexPress, near the route he used to walk as a child to primary school, to organize a Christmas food drive, according to Pulse Nigeria.

Thanks to Iwobi's efforts, 100 families were able to enjoy festive cheer and receive an abundance of food.
In an interview with Fulham's official website, Iwobi credited his father for instilling in him the value of charity. He recalled how his father always showed kindness to others, such as offering a bottle of water to garbage collectors.
Iwobi also shared how his father continues to leave tips even during simple errands, often giving £5 to a shopkeeper for a £1 purchase and leaving the change as a gesture of goodwill.
"My mum and dad do that, and even my sisters do the same. We just like to help other people, especially family. Seeing my parents do that, and being in a position like I am, it’s only right that I give back to the community," Iwobi said.
