Today in the NBL Australia, the decisive part of the season kicked off with playoff-in matches.
In the match between the 5th and 6th seeds of the regular season, the New Zealand Breakers faced the Sydney Kings. The New Zealanders struggled in the first two quarters, trailing 15-22 and 23-25, but managed to turn the tide and win 83-76.
In the matchup between the third and fourth seeds of the regular season, the Tasmania JackJumpers triumphed over the Illawarra Hawks with a score of 92-76.
The New Zealand Breakers will now face the Illawarra Hawks for the right to advance to the semi-finals, where their opponent will be Melbourne United.
