The Observatory of Racism and Xenophobia has conducted a study on racism targeting footballers in the Spanish top flight.
Details: According to this research, carried out by the Observatory of Racism and Xenophobia, Barcelona's young prodigy Lamine Yamal is the player who receives the highest number of racist insults on social media among all La Liga footballers.
The report revealed that the number of such messages targeting Yamal is more than double the amount directed at Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior, who was previously considered the main target of racist attacks in Spanish football. Behind them are Kylian Mbappe, Alejandro Balde, Brahim Diaz, and Inaki Williams.
This data once again highlights the serious scale of racism in football.
Reminder: Hansi Flick has stated that the Spanish national team must take care of Lamine Yamal.
