Tanzania knock out Algeria to reach the semi-finals of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations

The clash between Tanzania and Algeria lived up to all expectations. The two teams fought an epic battle throughout normal time.
Tanzania and Algeria were unable to break the deadlock after 90 minutes, which ended in a 3-3 draw. The two sides were forced into a penalty shoot-out. In this tense phase of the match, it was Tanzania who came out on top, scoring four goals to Algeria’s three.
The young Tanzanians have therefore reached the semi-finals. They will face either Ivory Coast or Egypt.
