Tanzania and Senegal have booked their places in the final of the 2026 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations after both nations came through tense semi-final clashes decided by penalty shootouts in Rabat.

The two last-four matches were played on Thursday at the Moulay El Hassan Stadium and produced plenty of drama.

Tanzania secured their place in the final after defeating Egypt 4-3 on penalties following a tightly contested goalless draw.

In the second semi-final, defending champions Senegal edged past hosts Morocco 7-6 on penalties after an entertaining 1-1 draw in regulation time.
