Rumours about Wojciech Szczęsny's possible move to Barcelona have become active over the last few days, even though the Pole has already finished his career. Now, the former (or is it not?) goalkeeper himself has spoken out on these rumours.
Details: Szczęsny has chosen to distance himself from these claims, only supporting his colleague and wishing him a speedy recovery.
Quote: ‘I just hope Mark gets well soon, he's a good friend of mine and a great goalkeeper, and I wish him all the best. That's the only thing I can comment on,’ said Szczęsny in conversation with Mundo Deportivo.
Recall: Earlier, Polish media reported that the 34-year-old goalkeeper has given his consent to a move to Barcelona, and Szczęsny himself described his dream to be at El Clásico, without naming the role in which he wants to do it.
