Details: According to Naples-based outlet Il Mattino, Manchester United is prepared to activate the release clause for Nigerian star striker Victor Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Osimhen’s contract with Napoli reportedly includes a release clause of around £62 million, and United is willing to meet that amount.

The club believes that the addition of a player like Osimhen to their frontline could dramatically improve their season’s trajectory.

The 25-year-old Nigerian has registered 10 goals and 5 assists for Galatasaray across all competitions this season.
