Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé continues to expand his business empire. In addition to the French Ligue 2 club Caen, the footballer, along with his investment company Coalition Capital, has become an investor in the France SailGP sailing team.
Mbappé and his fund Inspired by KM will also become a charitable partner of the French national sailing team.
“We are excited to be on board with this new adventure with the France SailGP Team, alongside Accor and other investors. I'm also proud that IBKM has the opportunity to engage more young people around the world through this relationship,” Mbappé stated.
Sail GP is a fast-paced, high-tech sailing league featuring races on catamarans just over 15 meters in length. The tournament includes 12 national teams as competitors.
Mbappé also holds a minority stake in Loewe Technology, a German electronics company specializing in premium home theaters and televisions. Additionally, he has invested in the luxury watch trading platform Wristcheck and, alongside Lionel Messi and Serena Williams, invests in the cryptocurrency fantasy football game Sorare.
