"Surpassing Ronaldo will be difficult," said the former Real player when assessing Mbappé's transfer

Former Real Madrid and PSG player, Nicolas Anelka, has assessed Kylian Mbappé's transfer to the Spanish club.

In his comments to AS, the French forward remarked that Real Madrid has a magnificent past, and Kylian will not have the same influence here as he did in Paris. However, it will be challenging for him to surpass Cristiano Ronaldo.

"It will be difficult for him to surpass what Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved. It solely depends on him whether he can match such statistics. But let's stop thinking that he needs to leave his mark on history. He has already done so," Anelka stated.

Cristiano Ronaldo played 438 matches, scored 450 goals, and provided 131 assists.

The French forward, Kylian Mbappé, has been officially presented as a Real Madrid player. Mbappé signed a contract with Real Madrid until the summer of 2029.

In response to the French forward's Instagram post, where Mbappé addressed the fans, even the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo commented.
