Surpassed even Messi and Ronaldo. Benzema set a unique achievement at the Club World Cup

French striker Karim Benzema was in the starting line-up of Al-Ittihad in the quarter-final match of the Club World Cup. The opponent of the team from Saudi Arabia was Auckland City from New Zealand.
The outcome of the meeting was clear after the first half: Al-Ittihad scored three goals, one of which was scored by Benzema.
With this goal, the forward became the first in Club World Cup history to score at four different tournaments.
Benzema has scored on three previous occasions in a Real Madrid shirt: in 2014, 2016 and 2022.
Interestingly, this is the sixth appearance at the Club World Cup overall for Karim. However, in 2017 and 2018, the French player did not score.
It is worth recalling that the Club World Cup was won by Real Madrid in 2022. This year, UEFA is represented by Manchester City at the tournament.
