The finals of the men's and women's windsurfing event took place at the Paris Olympics.

Israel's Tom Reuveny became the best in the men's discipline. This is Israel's first gold medal at the Games in Paris.

Australia's Grae Morris took silver and Luuc van Opzeeland of the Netherlands took bronze.

In the women's final, Italy's Marta Maggetti was the best.

Israel's Sharon Kantor took silver, while Emma Wilson of Great Britain took bronze.

It should be noted that the windsurfing finals were to be held yesterday, but were postponed due to weather conditions.
