Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie has officially completed a move to Chicago Stars FC in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), signing a three-year contract from the Houston Dash.

The deal will see the Nigerian international remain with the Chicago-based club through the 2028 season, as the Stars continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Reacting to the transfer, Alozie shared her excitement about beginning a new chapter in her career and embracing a fresh challenge in Chicago.

“I’m excited to be starting a new chapter with the Stars,” she told the club’s official website.
“I’m looking forward to meeting the team, connecting with them on and off the field, and seeing the fans in the city and in the stands.”

The right-back arrives in Chicago after four seasons with the Houston Dash, where she established herself as a reliable presence in defense. During her time at the club, Alozie made 75 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing two assists.
