Super Falcons Return to Nigeria Amid Uncertainty Over 2026 WAFCON Schedule

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have returned to the country as uncertainty continues to surround the scheduling of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The tournament is originally slated to take place in Morocco from March 17 to April 3, 2026. However, with less than two weeks remaining before the proposed kick-off date, there has been no official confirmation from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) regarding whether the competition will proceed as planned.

The Super Falcons had earlier planned to travel straight from Cameroon to Morocco after their two-legged friendlies.
