Super Falcons Fall 1-0 to Cameroon’s Indomitable Lionesses in Yaoundé Friendly

African champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in an international friendly at the Military Stadium in Yaoundé on Saturday night.

In a tightly contested encounter between two continental rivals, Cameroon left it late to snatch victory. Mbomezomo Yvana struck right on the 90th-minute mark to hand the hosts the decisive goal and seal the win in front of their home supporters.

Despite the setback, the Super Falcons will have a swift opportunity to respond. Both sides are set to face off again in a second friendly at the same venue next Tuesday.
