Super Falcons Defender Tosin Demehin Joins Benfica on Free Transfer Until 2029

Super Falcons defender Tosin Demehin has completed her move to Portuguese women’s club Benfica, signing a contract that will keep her at the club until 2029.

The 24-year-old centre-back joins Benfica as a free agent following her departure from Turkish side Galatasaray.

Benfica officially confirmed the signing, describing Demehin as the latest addition to their squad.

“Demehin, Nigerian international central defender aged 24, is a reinforcement for SL Benfica until 2029,” the Portuguese club announced.

Demehin spent two seasons with Galatasaray, making 42 league appearances and scoring two goals during her time in Turkey.
