Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen reached a major milestone on Saturday as he scored his 50th goal for Galatasaray, helping the Turkish champions secure a convincing 3–1 victory over Fatih Karagümrük in their Turkish Super Lig clash.

The Nigerian striker was making his first league appearance since mid-December, following his return from international duty. Osimhen had recently featured for Galatasaray in their UEFA Champions League fixture against Atletico Madrid after playing a crucial role in Nigeria’s bronze-medal finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

Osimhen wasted no time making an impact on his return, showing sharpness and composure in attack. He capped Galatasaray’s dominant performance by scoring the third goal of the match, a finish that sealed the victory and marked a significant personal milestone.

The goal took Osimhen’s tally to 50 goals in just 59 appearances for the reigning Turkish champions, with the Nigerian forward also contributing six assists since his arrival.
