Super Eagles Midfielder Ndidi Urges Teammate Felix Uduokhai to Choose Nigeria Over Germany
Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has called on his Beşiktaş teammate, Felix Uduokhai, to commit his international future to Nigeria. Uduokhai, a German-born defender of Nigerian descent, has long been viewed as a potential addition to the national team as the Super Eagles continue to seek defensive reinforcements.
The appeal came during a playful Snapchat video shared by Ndidi, where he was seen jokingly trying to convince the centre-back to switch allegiance.
“Come and play for Nigeria. Centre-back, we want centre-back,”
Uduokhai responded in good humour, slipping into Pidgin English as he asked,
“How much?”—a joke that left Ndidi laughing. The midfielder quickly fired back, saying, “What do you mean, how much? If you want money, don’t bother—just stay.”
