The Super Eagles have confirmed the dates for their opening two matches of the AFCON 2027 qualifiers.
Nigeria will begin their qualification journey in September with a home fixture against Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
Eric Chelle’s side will then travel to Morocco for their second qualifier, where they will face Guinea-Bissau on Sunday, September 27.
The 2027 AFCON will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda, with the tournament scheduled to run from June 19 to July 17, 2027.
