Super Eagles Camp Hits 24 in Cairo Premium Times Nigeria

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have boosted their camp in Cairo ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with the arrival of NK Istra forward Salim Fago Lawal and Nantes defender Chidozie Awaziem. Their arrival takes the number of players in camp to 24, following the earlier arrival of Ryan Alebiosu.

Four more players are expected to join soon, while the team trained on Monday night with 21 players present. Those involved included Francis Uzoho, Stanley Nwabali, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Raphael Onyedika, Paul Onuachu and Alex Iwobi, alongside other squad members. Nigeria train again Tuesday morning before facing Egypt in a friendly, final test before Morocco.
