Super Eagles: 20 Players Arrive in Camp Ahead of Madagascar, Guinea-Bissau AFCON Qualifiers

Twenty players have arrived at the Super Eagles’ camp in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.

The Super Eagles opened camp on Monday at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Ikot Ekpene as preparations began for the upcoming qualifiers.

The Super Eagles will face Madagascar in their opening qualifier on September 25 before travelling to take on Guinea-Bissau in their second Group-stage fixture on Tuesday, September 29.

Simon Moses, Akor Adams, Taiwo Awoniyi, Isaac James, Emmanuel Fernandez, Benjamin Fredericks, Moses Usor, George Ilenikhena, Arthur Okonkwo, Alex Iwobi, Semi Ajayi, Calvin Bassey, Ola Aina, Ademola Lookman, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Chibuike Nwaiwu, Tolu Arokodare, Bruno Onyemeachi, Raphael Onyedika, Frank Onyeka

Captain Wilfred Ndidi, winger Samuel Chukwueze and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali are also expected to join the squad later in the day.
