Suddenly! Emiliano Martínez could be heading to Italy
Juventus are back in the race for Emiliano Martínez.
Details: According to David Ornstein, the Turin club has sent a new offer to Aston Villa for the Argentine goalkeeper. Juventus are ready to pay €7 million as a fixed fee plus an additional €3 million in bonuses. Negotiations between the clubs are progressing, with both sides moving closer to an agreement.

The main stumbling block remains Aston Villa’s valuation of the player. The English club is demanding €10 million guaranteed, while Juventus are still offering only €7 million excluding bonuses.
Negotiating personal terms with Martínez, however, won’t be an issue — the source indicates the parties are basically in full agreement on that front. So, the key part of the talks is now focused solely on the transfer fee.
Curiously, as recently as August 2nd, reports suggested Juventus had dropped their interest in Martínez. Now, the situation has changed dramatically, and the Turin club are once again pushing to get the transfer over the line.
Reminder: Interesting choice! Juventus could sign a Real Madrid or Atletico goalkeeper.
