This is an encouraging result for the Ivory Coast U20 women's team as they prepare for their doubleheader against the Democratic Republic of Congo in the third round of African qualifiers for the U20 Women's World Cup to be held in Poland this year.
The Elephants women's team took on Agir Guibéroua, a women's club in the Ivorian first division, to test their playing system.
Karamoko Nourah, Haidara Mamaga and N'Guessan Rolande secured victory for the Ivory Coast U20 women's national team.
For the third round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 U20 World Cup in Poland, the Ivorian team will host DR Congo in the first leg on 8 February at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny stadium at 5pm GMT. The Ivorians will then travel to Kinshasa for the return leg on 14 February to challenge their opponents.
