Stop this machine. Atletico move closer to signing European national team defender

Atlético Madrid is continuing its active summer transfer campaign.

According to football journalist Nicolò Schira, the Madrid club is close to signing Feyenoord and Slovakia national team defender Dávid Hancko.

The personal terms have already been agreed upon, with a contract running until 2029. The transfer is expected to cost the Spanish club €30 million.

Last season, Hancko played 48 matches for Feyenoord across all competitions, scoring seven goals and providing three assists. He also featured in four matches for Slovakia during Euro 2024.
