Still searching for a coach! Manchester United board contacts Luis Enrique to take charge this summer
Manchester United may once again change their head coach this summer.
Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, Manchester United representatives held an emergency meeting in Paris with Luis Enrique’s agent. The Red Devils are seriously considering the Spanish specialist as their main candidate for the head coach position next summer and are trying to convince him not to extend his contract with PSG.
The source also reports that current Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is PSG’s top target. If Guardiola decides to move to Paris, that would open the door for Luis Enrique to take charge at Manchester United, but this time at Old Trafford. The Manchester United board is acting proactively, aiming to secure the coach before he signs a new deal with the French giants.
It is reported that, despite having an offer on the table from PSG for a contract extension, Enrique has yet to give a definitive answer, which leaves Manchester United with an excellent chance of success in negotiations.
Recall: Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is considering a move to Inter Miami after the 2026 World Cup.
