Stevenson defended the champion title, Conceicao took it from Foster. Boxing evening results in USA

Last night in Newark, USA, boxing fans were treated to an evening featuring two title fights.
The main event of the night was the WBC lightweight title bout between American champion Shakur Stevenson and German challenger Artem Harutyunyan.
Harutyunyan started the fight actively but failed to take decisive action, allowing the American to seize the initiative. Stevenson gradually dictated the pace and dominated his opponent.
The fight went the full twelve rounds, with the judges unanimously awarding the victory to the reigning champion.
The second significant bout was also a title fight. WBC super featherweight champion O'Shaquie Foster faced Olympic champion and multiple-time challenger Robson Conceição from Brazil.
Foster began the fight confidently, landing heavy blows on his opponent from the first round. Although Conceição briefly took control, Foster quickly regained dominance. The American looked more mobile and assured. Toward the end of the fight, the challenger suffered a cut after a head clash.
The fight also went twelve rounds, and while it was expected that Foster would secure a victory by decision, the judges' decision to award the win to the challenger sparked controversy and debate.
Robson Conceição is now the new WBC super featherweight champion.
In total, eight fights took place during the event, and the Dailysports team has prepared the results for you.
