Stéphane Keller joins Al Ittihad
The Cameroonian will play in the Saudi Pro League until the end of the season.
His Cypriot club AEL Limassol and Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia have reached an agreement in the form of a loan with an option to buy for the 24-year-old centre-back. The Saudi Pro League club announced Keller's arrival in a short message on its social media accounts.
‘Stéphane Keller joins the Tigers. Loaned until the end of the season,’ Al Ittihad said.
However, AEL Limassol has indicated that it does not want to sell its Cameroonian player. The Cypriot club nevertheless states that it agrees to offer the player an attractive and advantageous release clause to allow him to take the next step in his career.
The Cameroonian, who has played for AS Fortuna in Cameroon, Deportivo Alavés in Spain and NK Istra in Croatia, is certainly embarking on a new chapter in his career in the Saudi league.
